Dubai Muscle Show 2019

If you work in the fitness or nutrition industry throughout the UAE; the Dubai Muscle Show will need no introduction. Hosted within the Dubai World Trade Centre, the three-day event attracts over 200 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors each year. 

The exhibit hosts the best in the business from; supplement, nutrition and equipment brands to athletes from across the globe; with the likes of Applied Nutrition, PhD and Optimum Nutrition in attendance alongside, sponsored athletes such as this year’s Mr.Olympia Brandon Curry and the well-loved Kai Greene. 

There’s also a number of competition elements to the show from Women’s and Men’s physique, bodybuilding and strength; to pole fitness and battle of the bars, a calisthenics competition on uneven bars, which seemed to draw the greatest attention from the crowds.  This year we had the pleasure of being in attendance, not only to capture content for a number of our client’s PhD nutrition, 11 Degrees, and Gym Clothing Co but also to showcase our abilities amongst new audiences and brands.  

For PhD nutrition we helped to activate the launch of their NEW ‘Smart Plant Bars’ and ‘Birthday Cake Smart Bar’ generating interest around the releases on social before the event and during throughout posts and stories; which were reposted on the Dubai Muscle Show page generating over 4,000 engagements.  We’ve been working with 11 Degrees for some time now, capturing content for their website, brand books, and socials but this time it was all about encapsulating the buzz of the show and the interest around their brand for an exciting video piece, shot by our in house videographer Rob. To build further engagement around the stand we also hosted a rowing competition that sparked up interest amongst competitive attendees with a cash prize of over 1,000 AED for the quickest time to 200 meters. Finally, Gym Clothing Co a fitness clothing company set up by our CEO Jamie also launched their NEW men’s range and provided limited edition Dubai Muscle Show merchandise for the event. So, all in all it was a busy show for us and it’s only set to get busier next year as we onboard new clients and get even more involved in the 2020 show.
